I just downloaded an oldschool source it looks just like 2005 in the good old days. I do not plan on making a remake, but instead adding new content, but keeping the feel of 2005. I need a dev team, and staff, and a CO OWNER so if you are interested download links are below.
The download comes with the client and cache so make sure to put the Cache in your C: then you are good to go! I look forward to meeting some cool people! 
The download should also only take a minute or two since it has no custom models, etc
