But not as clustered…
A good portion of servers that are coming out and are being worked on are 700+… Less and less of the RS2 servers are being worked on, since that’s old. That and RuneScape is no longer in RS2, so a portion is trying to keep up with runescape (or close to).
I still vote RSC/RS2/RS3.

why not just get a mod that forces you to use a revision tag when posting a thread, then color code each one so it’s easy to see what ones you’re familiar with. Like a feintly blue box with ‘317’ in white in it

Clearly, from the reactions I get, my ‘useless’ research helps a lot of people so I can’t see why you’d complain about that in a community built around the sharing of information?

A lot of it is on the err, certain section. They should make some of those threads public.

RSC has some crazy talented people who influenced everything the rs2 section has. So watch yo mouth. I also think it would boost activity as some of the intermediate developers would be pushed to push their talents. Look at our show off thread down there, give me a link to yours? I cbf to search

What if the RSC community don’t want that? I wouldn’t want old school Rs2 pushed into the HD 2011 section. Shouldn’t it be want the members of the community want (I don’t know what they want btw)?
Personally I think more section diluting would benefit more than condensing.
I think the best thing would be to separate it all into 3 sections (RSC, RS2, and RS3). But I would personally like if we organized it by graphics type.
So, RSC, RS2(Pre-HD), RS2(HD), and RS3.

This is a good compromise. But as David said, what happens with 317 loading 602? Does that go in pre-HD or HD?

No, david was pointing out a problem with making revision based forums/subforums.
Some members will think their 317 client that has 508 maps, 508 objects, 602 npcs, 602 items, and 602 players belongs in the 508+ section. When in reality, it belongs in the 317 section. Just because you modified parts of it, doesn’t mean the client suddenly changed protocol.
There’s really no debate. If you started with a 317 client and just packed different data into the cache, it’s still a 317 client and goes in 317.
