RuneWars is a new server opened in February 2013. Unlike other RPG servers our friendly team of staff are dedicated in bringing you the best possible experience. With many quest and more to come, a team of both friendly and fun staff, Multiple Castes (Classes), and much much more.
At RuneWars we use a large range of plugins to increase the RPG and Minecraft server experience, whilst not detracting from survival. We believe the best server is one that has great RPG, PVP and survival.
With over 30 plugins we ensure you get the most of your playtime experience. Examples of our wide range of plugins include; Multiverse, Mcmmo, ecoCreature, BattleArena, Citizens and many more!

On RuneWars we have a special ranking system which we call the Caste System. The Caste System is very close to that many servers offer but differs in several ways. Think of a Caste as a clan or a team. As you progress through the RuneWars server you will encounter Quests offered by NPCs.
To join a Caste you must initiate the first Quest from the Caste that you are interested in, You will find the three major Castes initiation Quests close to spawn. Once you complete the initiation Quest you are now officially part of that Caste and receive the lowest rank and perks for that Caste.
Being in a Caste has benefits which includes perks, skills and being part of a community. Every Caste has ranks, to progress through the ranks you must complete Quest chains for your Caste and defeat members from other Castes. When you achieve a higher Caste rank you will receive more perks and abilities whilst keeping all the lower tiers perks.
Each Caste has a chat channel which only members of that Caste can see and chat in. This is useful since you are able to and encouraged to attack members of other Castes.

[ul][li]Convict: First rank of the server; your time as a hard-working labourer has ended and you must learn the ropes before being shipped out into the dangerous world.[/li]
[li]Wanderer: Lacking a Caste to call home after your time imprisoned, you are wondering the world and learning of the battles and trials which the free must currently endure. It would be wise to choose a Caste by following the spawn quests. Cost: Free[/li]
[li]Ranger | Trainee | Duellist: Your choice has been made, a Caste has accepted you into their ranks. Use your newly earned /kit, /spells & survival world to your advantage, in this rune conflict everything is changing. Cost: Free[/li]
[li]Dusk Spy | Neophyte | Echo: Having impressed your Caste and paid their training fee, you now have access to new /spells and abilities. Cost: $20,000 & 15 Quest Points[/li]
[li]Bane Hunter | Disciple | Reaver: New opportunities present themselves to those who explore, as you have quickly learnt. Once again learn further powerful /spells and access to permanent RPG plots. Cost: $50,000 & 40 Quest Points[/li]
[li]Temporal | Deacon | Summoner: Dedication has proven that you do indeed have loyalty for your Caste, in return they reward you with a great honour; the right to fight for them in the rune battles. The twisted dimension awaits… Cost: $90,000 & 60 Quest Points[/li][/ul]
Staff Ranks - Obtainable through applications.
[ul][li]Chat-Mod: The first staff rank, responsible for keeping the chat clean and generally assisting players. Is a probation rank for Mod.[/li]
[li]Mod: More responsibilities than Chat-Mod. Can assist in a far higher level with tickets and any issues that players might encounter.[/li]
[li]Admin: Generally assisting with more technical and serious issues than the previous staff ranks, only those who have shown knowledge and dedication will attain this rank.[/li]
[li]Owner/SrAdmin: Reserved for the owners of RuneWars, full access to the server and responsible for running the back-end stuff.[/li]
[li]Content Leader: Lead designer and coordinator of server elements such as the RPG world regions and quests.[/li]
[li]Quest Developers: Designs and codes the quests of RuneWars.[/li]
[li]Builders: The workforce of builders who are responsible for crafting the RPG world and other building elements.[/li][/ul]
