Just bought one, along with TehSpede and vortex.

they did so well with the irc

it certainly will make a nice seedbox or shell!

Is this for a year? It looks like the identical deal that I got on the VPS that is running the IRC server now, except I think I paid $15 for the year.

it is for a year

So far I have 51 days of uptime on mine, it’s been pretty stable and fast so far

the arch installs seem to be fucked up to i switched back to ubuntu
uptime

18:39:00 up 53 days, 11:44
It’s been fine after I switched off of the vz2uk host, which is buggy as hell, they are still having problems with it to this day.

Well good luck with that, have you seen all the problems they have had with vz2uk?

Quite the problem server right?

It’s the reason after I switched to it IRC continued to go up and down regularly until I switched to vz3uk.

I’m on vz2uk and have had 0 issues in the past 24 hours. Also, the kernel they supplied doesn’t have netfilter support :s

the only node with problems is vz2uk, the rest were unaffected

for anyone considering arch on qualityservers or one of many vps providers, this is absolutely mandatory if you want to be able to update

oh and due to openvz I think, there may or may not be a bug where you are unable to reboot your machine (after an update?) due to a problem on the host machine, you must open a support ticket for them to run a command before you gain access to the machine or alternatively, reinstall the image

apart from those 2 problems(which are to do with software/the image qualityservers and many vps providers use) I’ve had no problems in 3 months with them, I’ve even been able to reach 150 MegaBYTES a second download speed!

How are your upload speeds? I always get about 10kB/s when seeding but when I dl my files with jDownloader it comes at my home connections max speed

maybe they limit datorrent
maybe they limit datorrent
it is encrypted…

and on random listen ports

ye

EDIT: tried seeding on tpb and was getting 2mb/s speeds so i guess the problem was that there are 9999 seeders on tleech. Also switched rtorrent to transmission.

When we speak of VPS, have anyone a good suggestion on a VPS that support Onebip or other SMS payment systems (I have good reasons for wanting to pay with SMS so don’t flame me).

I found this: https://secure.tech-hosts.co.uk/
I want something that let me use ports that are closed at the network where I live (To play online games, so I need low latency). So how hard is it to set something like this up?
