[~$700] Decent Build?

Building my friend one after he came to me asking which alienware computer he should get. He wants a good computer for around $700.

Since he’s mostly into gaming, I tried to get a good GPU and CPU with other cheap parts with good reputation and ratings.

Is this a good build, and is it all compatible?

edit: left it out, but I already have some leftover memory i have for him.

And preferably get one with more VRAM, if possible.

I suggest getting that card and get a new standard size case

oh, and if you can, get an oem version of the 2500k and a hyper212+, the stock heatsink for the 2500k is absolutely pathetic

standard size case really necessary? also we’re not talking about overclocking here, friend can’t and doesn’t know how to maintain any of that, so the stock cooler will do fine.
that’s the only reason why this could fit into $700, getting a microATX mobo and case to cut down the price to make way for a good cpu and gpu.

well i tried finding some on newegg, lowest price for standard ATX mobo is $20 more, which goes over his budget (he’s strict of no more than $720)

i already picked out a standard size pc tower just now
