A couple GIMP works

Hello guys, I made a few more in GIMP, just trying to get better at GIMP and learn more about it’s features! All of these (except the second) were inspired by other pictures!

(Wasn’t trying to do any fancy background with this one)

Sorry I’m not being really constructive. The frost dragon one looks okay but you imported the frost dragon image so it doesn’t really count ;x.

I’m not sure how you would improve on it personally, I think you’d be better of changing the style you used initially.

On the Forst Dragon one, I did import it but it originally had a white background, I spent 30 mins cutting it out, pixel by pixel :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks for feedback!

You need to apply anti-aliasing on your text/pictures, or it look awful. The three last on look like you have used on cheap effect in GIMP and is quite boring.

What’s anti-aliasing? And I know it may look like I used some cheap effect for the last one buy I really did create the effect, I’m just not super great at graphics so it may look like a cheap effect

You could just blur the border around the text (Filters -> Blur and light -> [experiment here]).

The fonts look a bit ‘edgy’, that’s what anti-aliasing is meant to fix. Makes it look clean and professional.

Overall, nice imo. Keep practicing.

Thanks for the positive feedback and the tips! I’ll keep practicing for the simple fact that graphics are fun to make :stuck_out_tongue:
