Best way to start into GFX?

The title pretty much says it all. Is there a preferred program for a starting, or what would you recommend?

Photoshop it’s actually pretty easy for the simple stuff then on the other hand it can be horrible

Just go straight into Photoshop to start of with if your looking to do raster images or maybe illustrator for vector since they’re both easy to do and that’s what I had to do when I was doing my graphic’s course.
