Boot message thingy

So I’ve had this problem since a few weeks after I built this pc back in September:

Remove disks or other media.
Press any key to restart

It happens on every boot straight after the post screens (the ones saying hard drive names/makes detected and a ton of other information) and just before the windows log in screen.

It’s not a big problem as when you do press any key it simply continues booting (which is strange as it does say press any key to restart). I would just like it sorted as having an ssd I can’t admire the quick boot times.

What do?

Info:
60gb SSD (primary drive with windows 7 on it)
750gb HD (secondary for everything else) - there is also a small 20gb windows xp partition on it that I’ve had for ages and haven’t(and wont) use it for a while.
P8Z68 motherboard (at least I think this is my motherboard, it may be a variation of the P8Z68 make)

unplug all usb devices then try booting, does the message still display?

Oh that was the first thing I tried, and nope did nothing. I’ve had the problem before where you leave a usb stick in and it refuses to boot.

Go into BIOS and set your boot priority to your main SSD.

iirc you’re on a p8z68, go into bios and turn advanced mode on, go find the boot menu, disable booting from all other drives apart from the ones you want to boot from, go back to menu, make your drive the first drive and ur dun

All fixed
Ty, reason I hadn’t tried this earlier is because I’d messed round in the bios quite a bit and some how overlooked the boot tab…
