Where is the castle?
read the title? that should answer your question
Also, I’m building the surroundings first so i can incorporate the designs used in the village buildings into the castle itself. Gives me a lot to work with instead of being limited to following what main design pattern of the castle is if I built it first.
Looks pretty nice so far, keep us updated on the progress.
I like the smelting shack you got going on.
Progress 2 added to main topic!
Tower needs to be renovated, 5 high for each floor isn’t enough. Also increasing side length to add more room for stuff
Better than anything I could build
Everything seems too square, try adding some more shape to the path, loop it around a building. A good example would be around your fountain. Also the perfectly flat land doesn’t do you any favours when it comes to making it seem more like a village instead of a servers plot world - landscaping bro.
The only thing I dislike is that medieval towns were not grid-based, or flat.
Points taken, but this is for my convenience over anything else. Not going to spend like 6+ hours clearing land and designing curved roads. Just a little fun project for me to get used to large scale builds
I agree to a certain extent but without a grid it’ll be a lot harder to get things looking good.
Quick Update to the tower:
I’m thinking this will be the transitioning point towards the Mage’s district so I can get a lot more darker with my designs and ease off the use of jungle wood little by little. I also need to redo the walls, beef the them up a little and increase their height.
Wait till you see what I did
Looking nice 123. Good job on the tower! Keep us updated.
You can call me Siver
Updates will be coming in the next week
That tower looks really good.
I’ll look forward to seeing them. The fences on the logs confused me until I looked closer haha.
