Community input: What do you think about a new forum theme?

I use the core theme. Even if you put in new ones, I will still use core. Nothing else is better IMO.

How exactly? How is adding an OPTIONAL (optional meaning NOT MANDATORY) dark theme going to affect the forum negatively in any way?

I think we need a) a more modern theme (this is a bit outdated in terms of aesthetics IMO) and b) a darker theme
Neither mandatory of course, but I think making a more modern theme the default would be a good choice. Dark themes are also really nice for night browsing or for use on a mobile phone/laptop in bed at night.

I think this is a good idea, perhaps the most mentioned links in this thread can be put into a poll?

in regards to colors, i think there should be two options available of the theme that’s picked. whether it be minor image edits to the theme, just to change the colors or whatnot.

though, i would like to see a more modern ui, something responsive and definitely something more appealing to the “communities”

i don’t believe it’s really about color; but about how it looks.

I need a dark theme for the love of God, please add a dark theme - as to what should be added, I don’t know. Someone suggest a dark theme!

If people don’t want to use it, don’t use it? Quite simple IMO.

I think a dark theme would be pretty great. Especially since 90% of the time im on here is at night.

Just give us wide range of themes and allow the user to be able to choose what they like best. I mean there isn’t really a limit to how many themes you can add right?

The price isn’t as much of a problem as the fact that I couldn’t include this in the public github repo that allows anyone to make modifications to the forum.

I don’t want to add too many because every one is another place I have to do manual modifications if we want to change anything or install any new mods.
