First water shader


Made in Cinema 4D. Took about 4 days on and off, still didn’t like the result of it.
I’ll only take criticism into consideration if it’s constructive.

Looks like chipped gelatin

Try scaling noise (or wave?) to 300% and putting it in the bump iirc. Been forever since ive rendered in c4d don’t really remember.

Yea but something else is making it very noisy

You’re using the wrong kind of noise for one. It’s also harder for you because you’re editing an ubershader’s values and not actually writing a shader specific to anything.
