Make everything a little darker, the red - much darker. Don’t have the red shadow borders around the box, but just a 1px border in a lighter color. That’s just basic though, could get in deeper.

I dont like how you have the different links so stretched out from each other like that. Looks sort of tacky.

The big red arrows are the coolest part of this picture, everything else looks pretty cheap, I think.
Also, I’m curious, did you make the texture on the background yourself? It might be good but I can’t get a grip of it. It looks too blurry and I wonder how many pixels is the texture in actual size? Is it “seamless”, or just stretched to fit that space? Could you just for my amusement show the original one if it’s your own? I’ve suddenly laid my eyes on textures and find them fun and yet easy to make them tile up.
