Free Minecraft?

So I have MC on my mac, but cant play it because I need Java 1.6, and I can only get 1.5…
I want to get MC on my pc, but cant even load minecraft.net

Is there any way I can get minecraft for free? Help please? :\

There are ways of doing this, but I would recommend just loading an older version of the Minecraft.app and not updating it. Or dual boot your mac with linux or windows.
