Hey MoparCraft,
Just making this thread to ask a few questions in regards to running a server. I have absolutley no clue on how to run and maintain a server, but I’m keen on playing a server with my friends and I wouldn’t mind if you guys joined too!
Anyways so I was wondering if someone can give me an add on skype and we chat over there.
atm, I know that Bukkit is useful, but I personally have no knowledge on how to use those plug-ins.

put plugin jar file in the /plugins/ directory.
add permissions + usergroups if needed

check to see if the plugin is compatible with your version on bukkitcraft (on the bukkit website>plugin page)
if so, download the jar file.
place file inside the /plugins/ directory
for example:
http://plugins.bukkit.org/
first plugin = PlayerLauncher
click Download on far right of page
“Filename
PlayerLauncher.jar”
^ download from there ^
place jar inside /plugins/ folder
click ‘Overview’ at top to get plugin’s permissions
set those for the ‘groups’ you created in permissions.yml
