figuring out building in extreme hills biome, any tips welcomed

I don’t particularly like it, but good job. 
that looks dumb
Maybe have the path carve into the mountain and go zig-zag up, or have it on the outline of the mountain, cause it just looks a tad silly with just this straight bland path. Or making make a fun parkour way to get up for when your bored haha. 
You should be a lot more like Travis, or actually, anybody but yourself 
OT:
That isn’t your finest work bro, the whole thing with the stairs+ladders is pretty fugly. Try bridges or umm try a different biome till you feel comfortable with hills
that windmill (also looks like the cooking guild next to varry) looking thing could use a better roof too, looks weird
The house is way too tall for its width, if you’re going to mega build the height, do the same for at least one other dimension. The ladder thing could have done much better if you made it curve around the mountain side as stairs.
