not good as how google does it!
iPad 3
Really? Google has dropped the Nexus one update support already. It only came out in 2010.
wht i ment is the OS
But that doesn’t make sense. You said they make the actual devices obsolete. How is that the case? if anything, their closed model allows them to provide support for longer than many.
Im pretty excited for friday. Microsoft Office will be coming to the iPad soon so this will make this the perfect table for me to use at school and I just bought an iRig to use with my guitar and a jot pro for note taking and now I am waiting to see what case/keyboard combo I should get.
Keep in mind that the sound quality on iRig will be pretty shite. I have a StealthPlug from IK Multimedia, and it’s pretty much the same story. While it’s great if you’re moving about a lot, for serious recording it’s not worthwhile.

Yeah I was looking at the reviews and I saw people where having problem with noise but it looks that can be fixed through changing some program options. I mainly just got it to play with since it was only ~25USD so I figured couldn’t go to wrong with it. If I get serious about it I will probably order an Apogee JAM in a couple months. Any other iPad accessories you guy recommend?
I don’t use any accessories other than the smart cover. Never felt any need.

No its pathetic especially when they are so stupid that they don’t realize that they could have bought their iPads at midnight from any 24-hour Walmart, or they are such fanboys that they will ONLY buy their apple products from apple, but yeah drove by at 5am and was about 20-40 people, anyways mine is coming via ups today so I don’t have to deal with with the retards. Would be fun to just take my ipad when I get it and go to the massive line and be a dick.
You guys suck, my mate went to apple store at 9am, got out about 40 minutes later with an iPad3. Played with it briefly this afternoon, the screen is as good as they make it out to be in the pictures, compared it to a 3.5" smartphone screen and they are just as clear as each other.
I can confirm the face recognition recognises black people.
Some people weirdly like that horrific experience of being at an Apple store. Worst places in the entire world, which is a shame, because having a place you can easily take your hardware to for a replacement or repair is good and has proved useful for me. It’s just stupidly overcrowded with dickheads checking facebook on the macs, and the “genius” bar being full of patronising twats.
Also, it is the hardest place in the world to actually buy something. You have to just hang around and look confused to get someone to take notice of you and take your order, then you still just hang around, because they thought actually having an area where you line up and pay for your shit would be too convenient for Apple.
FUCK EM
Hahahaha, can’t say I’ve ever been in one, I really want to go to the genius bar though now and ask them some silly questions. I assume this is similar to those “Geek Squad” things they have in some shopping centres.
I have always avoided that sort of service, but if you own an Apple computer it is always just best to take it into an Apple store - it is much easier than having to send it off, because you can show it to them in person and they will do the repairs or replacements in the store. So I’ll be fair and say that aspect is good, it is just sometimes - they don’t always trust what you are telling them is wrong with it, but other times, like when I finally got someone who wasn’t a dick, listened to me, I demonstrated why I thought the problem I was having was down to a faulty GPU on my laptop, he listened to me - replaced the board and it was fine.
It still doesn’t do anything to dim the hatred I have for going in those places, because it was never that part of the store that was really that annoying, in fact, it is quite good.

when you tlak to them, they’ve got like a set list of what they can do, so mostly what you say is irrelevant you just say its broken then they figure out what catergory it falls under to dtermine what they do
Well they tried to tell me it was the RAM first, and told them that is not what the evidence pointed to, but I let them replace the RAM at their own cost (as I have the free three year warranty), only to then be proven right to the same guy, that it wasn’t the problem and then they replaced the entire motherboard (as the GPUs are soldered on, obviously).
Got mine early Friday glad I ordered it online screw queuing in those lines
Same got mine noon Friday, very happy with it so far
EDIT: Waiting for clear iPad 3 jailbreak instructions then I will be on my way to jailbreaking it, dont really wanna pay for apps and I want to be able to use my bluetooth mouse when I remote desktop my home PC
