Java Remove? [updated]

I goto add/remove programs and I try to remove java and it wont uninstall, the remove button has been removed on the list. I need to know how to remove it manually can anyone please help me

Go to program files, and delete the folder name java? Doesn’t really seem like rocket science.

that wouldn’t remove any lingering registery files, have you tried Revo Uninstaller

And btw I already did this…

I used hijack this and I removed some myself but it still seems to be on the computer… Anyways I’mma give Revo a try.

Now when I try to reinstall java it says this…
“Windows Installer
This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.”

That’s just what you have to put up with when using windows. It shouldn’t stop you from installing a new version of Java.

It does…

It wont install wtf!!!

try revo and do a force uninstall if still unsuccessful, try to clean up the regedit a bit and then reinstall java

I already tried that, and still nothing it’s bullshit.

it installs now but my browser always says its out of date

firefox? if so just uninstall the plugin and reinstall

tried that doesn’t work.

Format the HD and make a fresh install of your operating system.
Warning: All data will be lost, back it up to another computer or external HD and disconnect it during format and installation.

While using Windows you should make a fresh install at least every four months if not needed before that. This since it fills up with shit quickly and a reinstall goes faster than cleaning. It also removes possible errors.

No fuck that i fixed it with a system restore but my java is still sketchy… :frowning:
