i like gnome 2 better than 3 tbh. but i cant really use full ubuntu with gnome because my computer only has 1gb of ram. i tried it but it lagged entirely way too much

Should use lxde or xfce both use low resources, even more so then Gnome.

I am. Lubuntu by default uses lxde

i used to use gnome 2 for quite some time but then i was somehow brainwashed into thinking that gnome 2 and xfce looked like cheap ripoffs of windows. oh well. i think they are both pretty good. :stuck_out_tongue:

lol well my monitor is 1280 x 1024, cant make it any bigger :smiley:
