if you’re going to get an asus board just be wary because they seem to have gimped their p8z68 boards, there’s a good half dozen versions without any real price difference and some are missing some “standard” features

Looks pretty good for the price, at first glance the picture you presented made it look ugly but that’s just the flash lighting from the camera, looking up other pictures online and it looks pretty nice. Let us know how it performs against some of the more pricey boards.

its good. I don’t really expect to see much difference in performance from the motherboard though, everything is bitching fast anyway.
