Told you optifine fixes everything also now that we are getting the modded servers, I think it would be good to have a poll for what the modpack will be?

As it stands we haven’t received any alternate suggestions on the mod pack yet. If you have any you would like to be considered let us know

At the moment Testpackpleaseignore offers the most quality and variety in mods whilst keeping endgame a little difficult. Which is most appealing to me. I don’t know if a poll is needed.

While not the same challenge as Gregtech, any pack with Ex Nihilo offers a great challenge if you guys are interested in sky block maps.

is there different difficulty settings because i feel the hardest difficulty available would be best since i cant remember what modpack had it but you could decide the difficulty of recipes and such

Gregtech does have a hard mode, which I believe TPPI has enabled. And they also go out of their way to make things harder, IE the Ender Quarry requires 2 octuple compressed cobble (43m cobble each) to make.

The thing with tppi is that it has modified some of the recipes that gregtech would have changed, for example if we use gregtech hard mode alone then vanilla recipes like iron pick axes and so on would be different. Instead of being challenging it just becomes tedious and annoying.

So I’m pretty certain we will be using the default release of tppi without fully enabling gregtech hard mode.

I just got my networking equipment ordered, it will take at least a week to arrive. I’ll set up a temp server and see how the performance is when it get’s here.

The official pixelmon server has plenty of open spots and you guys can all play there… It’s a very boring mod to play

We’re checking stability, we’ve had 4 online at once so far and the server was fine. The only thing that causes some lag is loading new chunks but I think that is to be expected.
