Hello everybody. 
I am posting this to show off a couple of signatures i made in photoshop CS5. Please keep in mind that i am fairly new to photoshop and have been learning it for almost 3 months. I would like some criticism on what i am doing good, bad and what i need to improve on. Please donāt be too harsh. 
Both are 650 x 200 pixels wide.

I like the first oneās overall simplicity. Nice work
I really like the second one, good job.
Not too much of a fan of the first one, but I do like the second one a bit.
The text on the first one doesnāt really go with the background. However, I do like the second one.
I somewhat agree with you. I feel as if i should have removed the diamond from the background or something. But when i do, it looks really empty. :s

Iām not a GFX person, so will someone explain to me why the first one isnāt āgoodā? I thought it had a nice appeal and I can usually tell when a signature is well done or not.
In my opinion, itās the text, it doesnāt match the background like the other one does.

Agreed. Sometimes a contrast can make a nice effect, but in this case it just doesnāt work.
I like the 1st one of the 2.
Not only because iām a fan of Minecraft, But the second one looks sorta weird.
