I just wanted to get this community’s opinions on the options that I have.
tl;dr I want to make a device that opens my car door when my keys(transmitter) are within 2-3 meters of the receiver(device in the car).
So how exactly are you going to keep your transmitter on you at all times, but can’t keep your keys or some other unlocking device with you at all times? :L
The transmitter will be attached to the keyring. And if the door remains unlocked while the keys are within 2-3 meters, then the keys could (almost) never be locked inside the car. The only thing that I could think of that might happen is the battery (if I use one) dies while the keys are inside.
