Plugin Team

I really enjoy programming, and the fact of making something new and exciting for other people to use just gives me a good feeling deep inside. Unfortunately, I have realized that I enjoy bettering my knowledge in an environment that allows me to practice my skills at my own will. In other words, I would much rather create my open source project based upon something I have created myself.

Also, as much as I would like to continue this plugin team, school has started back again, and with it being my last I have to put forth a lot of time towards my future.

It is indeed allowed.

I’d just like to say that this is a lot of work because of constant updates, although it is much easier with a team. What sort of plugins are you thinking of?

It’s really hard to say what kind of plugins, because almost anything is possible with the Bukkit API. In particular, I was thinking of mainly creating Administration tools and stuff along those lines, but certainly not limiting the plugins to that.

best bet is to remake old outdated plugins.

I thought it would be implied that you actually had to be active in the group in order to be “apart” of it.

I suppose that could be a good idea to consider.

Sounds interesting. If you have a clear plan I will most likely join. Be aware, my programming skills isn’t very good.

I actually just had a great brainstorm for a good starting point, and possibly even a future of expansion. I’m pretty sure the plan will carry out, just let me know if you are interested.

Why do you want to start up a group like this? Seems fun and I always wanted to be developer on Bukkit
Do you have any experience in programming/plugin development? I know Craftbukkit API
Do you have Skype? (You do not have to provide your username; a simple yes/no will do.)

First plugin you guys should remake is the one that significantly shortened the lifespan of dropped items. Help out the FTB team :wink:
