[RESOLVED] Most no-ip addresses disabled by microsoft

In fact, microsoft seized 22 domain names operated by no-ip (can anyone find me a list)?

This affects us mainly because many servers on the serverstatus page use these domains, which are now offline and need to be changed asap, and the recent downtime wiped.

If you have one of these domain names on the server status page, please post a link to your server and the new domain name you’d like it pointed to on this thread and I will take care of it, including adjusting uptime.

Microsoft’s reasoning behind doing this is unreasonable as hell.

Is your service down because of this outage? The solution we have available at the moment is for you to create a new hostname on a domain that has not been seized by Microsoft. The following domains are free and working

ddns.net
webhop.me
serveminecraft.net
ddnsking.com
onthewifi.com

To create a new hostname, login to your No-IP account and click on the Hosts/Redirects tab. Click a “Add a Host”. Typo in your hostname and also choose one of the working domains.

We apologize for this outage. At this point it is completely out of our hands, but please understand that we are fighting for you.

Wow how the hell did microsoft get a court order to do this?? They shouldn’t have any say in the matter. It isn’t their company and from the looks of it noip had reacted positively in the past to microsofts demands…

And I fix the uptime counter too, removing all ‘down’ checks since the time microsoft took over:

Kinda mad @microsoft not thinking about the consequenties of innocent people.
Change to “allstarlegends.no-ip.net” please.

I posted hours before because I couldn’t login to shit and heard about this and had to post it… I was probably first overall ctfu…Checked RL, R-S, and Mopar and found nothing on the matter… again I was most likely the first, but I got no attention anyways and MITB had to go and ruin my 0 comments for me :palm:…lmao

Edit: for shits n giggles, I pinged a couple (only 2) of domains microsoft took.
I then searched that IP on the interwebs.
Then I found this:

(That’s not the entire list…)

Basically any domain under this IP is owned by microsoft.
