Although in the US the DMCA could probably be twisted to say that you obtained that information illegally. Because the DMCA can do almost anything :stuck_out_tongue: lololol

mutex_, contribute what you know instead of measuring e-peen?

EDIT: a good deal of information was added and templates were created for most information. I’ve gathered most of what super_ has posted around so far. I still need incoming/outgoing packet documentation, though.

Here is the latest runewiki db:

https://www.moparisthebest.com/downloads/runewiki.truncated_users.sql.bz2

Insert that into your MySQL server like so:

I removed all entries in the user table to avoid giving away private account info, so you will need to insert at least 1 admin account probably. Other than that it hasn’t been touched, and you should be able to figure it out hopefully. I know mediawiki is notoriously hard to get to cooperate with any type of move, import, or the like, but hopefully you can get it to the point where you can grab the info you need.

If you need anything else, let me know.

downloading and installing a mirror under a different database name on my server

edit: attempted to install a copy of media wiki, drop the database’s entries and import yours - failed miserably.

edit2: all working an contains lots of nice information, thanks!

Can we get a link to the runewiki mirror? I think I remember it being pretty vandalized, did you fix that too?

I will be transferring all information to the new wiki today.

Did you recently add proxy detection to the website?

I keep receiving a “Proxy detected” message whenever I try to view the website on my wi-fi connection. Funny because I manage to bypass using this web proxy.
