You guys are hating on his work but I have yet to see you guys even attempt anything in Photoshop and show it off. Give constructive criticism.

Critiquing doesn’t imply you can do better, it’s that you think the person who made it should do better

and I agree, it’s somewhat basic text on a grunge background, there’s a lot of room for improvement

Okay. Well I really don’t like the bright and fancy looking text on a dark, more sad-like background. It looks to me that the background actually repeats itself in squares (if needed, I’ll show where). Also, the black what-ever-you-call-it could be more randomized. The line through the two sides would be better off diagonal from one corner to the opposite instead of it being curved. Also, you can’t read the text that well (this is from a general perspective) and I have no idea what it says in the loop of the beginning of the I or the text under the pi.
