first sig made in years so i’m rusty as fuck. made with GIMP, C&C appreciated.

is the right oval supposed to match the left oval?
The render doesn’t really fit in with the background…
is the right oval supposed to match the left oval?
not particularly, i thought i’d just experiment with dual light sources (they didn’t really turn out that way too well). the fractal is here.
The render doesn’t really fit in with the background…
i was trying to take advantage of the red, white and brown in the render by complementing with brighter reds, oranges and blacks. mind being a bit more specific on what you think?
Looks nice, but kinda simple. If you were going for an effect of Altair/Ezio (whoever the hell he is, I don’t play AC) coming out of fire, you need flames or light around the edges rather than in the center of him. It also looks like you just took some brushes over the render with a fractal background (which looks julia-linear based :s )
Edit: Just saw it was Juggalo’s fractal. Yup, thats his style
not too shabby.
The background looks nice, but it doesn’t fit the character, like David said.
so i’m rusty as fuck.
Sounds like you need some WD40
But I think a different color would fit better then the bright red imo.

Unless you can get the parameters from Juggalo, chances of being able to change the colors to say, white and red, and having it flow the same way the fractal’s color does are very low. You can try color replacement, but it may not turn out as nice as you’d like (I’m picturing the small circles around the outside as a dull pinkish-red and the majority of the rest of the fractal white).

I figured you had duplicated and reduced the fractals opacity (probably because I did that for SoTW ). The effect looks nice, but it just has to go along with the render. With this fractal, a render of a flaming entity would definitely go better, such as The Human Torch or something along those lines. For this render you’re using though, maybe this fractal will work, provided I cahnge up the colors a bit.

I could also see you geting creative with this one:

Would go better with the black version, ezio in altair’s armor
It kinda just looks like you slapped on a render with a background. The colors don’t really match.
I hope your not actually using this? lol jk >.<
Looks good for a first attempt keep it up!
