As for it looking like a castle hallway, it looks more like a castle wall with carpet hanging off it :confused:

The biggest flaw in this is that there is absolutely no depth. At all. So it just looks completely flat, it’s too boring as well. Try adjusting the shadows and use different angles. The lighting is very cheesy and unrealistic. Good luck with whatever you do next.

I actually meant for it to be a flat ‘cartoony’ type view, yes it is boring I agree, but I don’t know what else to add. Maybe a person looking out the window? It has no depth (hence the sarcasm in above post).

Or you just failed to create the illusion of 3d perspective in a 2d image.
As said, you need shadows, lighting is a must, even in a cartoon based image, and I think the curved lines on the carpet aren’t helping, either.
