Website Template (First One I Ever Made)

Ok so i was learning HTML and CSS and decided to make a website template, this is the first i ever made so please dont hate…

This template is only colored in #333-#999 because i like grey.
So yeah, here it is (its kind of shitty i know…)

It can currently hold 15 links (it will change if you change the logo size…

Yeah i know its not ‘good looking’ but atleast i tried… please don’t hate

P.S. The reason there is a random “HI” behind the textarea is because i messed up lol, you can just delete that, (its in the field “body1”)

Maybe try different colors and center the logo

If you get msn i’ll teach you more about css :wink:
But the way I do it takes up more space if you care xD

Looks like you got a theme and modified it abit, if its yours its a 2/10. But nice none the less, saying its a 2/10 cause its not a full website and its pretty basic. Put more effort into it and it’ll be a lot better.

It looks alright, I’d suggest making the navbar tabs a bit bigger, maybe progressing into drop-down tabs? Also, work on content of the site.

It doesn’t look very good in my opinion. The styles you applied to it are stuff out of the 90s, such as with the columns and the navigation bar. Using just grey colors is a bit challenging not to mention limiting as well.

Constructive critism;p, was only saying it so you know where your going wrong and so you can improve and be a lot better at it. Better than me saying its good or saying its shit and leaving it at that;o.

A lot of links. You should consider learning how to make drop-downs if you’re going to have that many links.

Looks very good! Keep it up, try to experiment with other colors, if you have to have gray try to use colors like #e1e1e1 #acacac which go together pretty well. Also gradients with #e1e1e1 - #acacac havea nice web2.0 look to them. :smiley:
