After two threads and months of waiting, I finally got it. Shortly after I purchased my mobo, intel decides to recall all intel 6 series boards because of a serious design fault. The fault could disrupt/destroy any of my SATA 2-5 devices after 2-3 years. Nevertheless I’m gaming as if nothing’s going to happen because I’m too busy to care about what will happen in 2-3 years.
Is it bad to have the power cables going to my gfx card bent like that?

So far I have replaced the Graphics card with an ATI 4890 because the 2400HD was shit and didn’t ‘truly’ have 1GB of memory. This meant that I also needed to replace the PSU. I now have an 800W EZ-Cool in there. It gets the job done.
Also replaced the hard disk as it packed up, got a WD Caviar from eBuyer for a little over £40 at the time.
I will soon be getting an Antec 300 case to replace this horror:
