Runescape Cheating Wiki

Right, there are a billion wikis already, so here’s another one for the pile:

http://www.moparisthebest.net/

Current goal is to try and fill up as much info as possible about bots and communities from the past and the present.

If you have information on individuals, get that in there too!

Idiots

Thanks for stealing moparisthebest.net, I’ve been trying to buy that for ages. Want to sell it to me, and continue running the wiki?

There’s a reason its marked as crappy

Not my domain, the owner just didn't want to use it.

Who is the owner? Does he want to sell it to me?

Also, do you want to use something like wiki.moparisthebest.com, I can make an A or CNAME record for it or something.

Hopefully this wiki will work out, that would be great.

I’ll start work on it if I have a few spare hours next week. Probably tomorrow.

I’ve uploaded the blackbook here, just so you guys have a reference of some sorts.
Do note that is pretty crappy and it’s missing a lot of things, but at least it’s a start!

we have our own wiki :)… which seems to be fucked up right now :(.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_NAMESPACE, expecting T_STRING in /home/mopar/htdocs/moparisthebest.com/wiki/includes/Namespace.php on line 44

um… mopar help!!!

Well anyway, once that’s fixed you can copy and paste the black books from there (it’s wikitext’d).

I personally think someone should rewrite the blackbook, because it is pretty bad and missing out on things.
It’s just a matter of finding people who want to do it and have enough spare time! :stuck_out_tongue:

didn’t cows come around at some point last year said he would be writing more and vanished.
Nice Mopar.

Now we need an absolute beginner’s guide to cheating, that can also lead into whatever direction the cheater wants to go in. Then once it’s prominently linked, you can start converting new hits on your site straight into new cheaters  Hopefully many of them would also find the wiki a better way to find answers than spamming the forum.

I hope your wiki goes well. If it was back in the day, I would help you all I could.
Doesn’t look like he has much interest to do it at all.

maybe it was someone else then I know someone started writing some new chapters at some point.

PaulT started writing new chapters, I’m pretty sure the topic is on the General Discussion board.

Anyway, @mopman, I’ve set up an A record for wiki.moparisthebest.com pointing towards your site, if you want to set it up to use it.

Maybe a PDF document introducing the various technologies used for accessing the client (BCEL/ASM/reflection/agents) would be ideal if compiled by the right people.

Unlike a wiki, the content is directly controlled and subject to scrutiny before publishing. Wikipedia, on the other hand, is an endless war between those who know and those who think they know making edits to a page, which ends up being reverted countless times before being locked.

a wiki would be the perfect place to draft such a document

K i’ve added some more stubs, needs more contributions though, especially from people like Mediator and Regsecks, people who remember the history of RSCheatnet/Reinet better than me.

Added some speculation / known facts.

I’ve resurrected our original wiki, that version of mediawiki wasn’t compatible with the version of PHP that I run. Fun stuff

Anyway, all of the black books are on there. Whoever did that did an excellent job.

I’m not going to pretend to act like I know anything about mediawiki, if you want to become an administrator of it or something I’d be more than happy to let you.
