Haha no, I started it in late January 2006, shady host ‘went away’ and my current account has a creation date of February 22, 2006, so actually less than a month.

Ontopic, if we did create Runescape from scratch, wouldn’t it be all HTML5 and Websocket’s? I’m in if we can find someone to create the models, or maybe some free models to use?[/quote]
Why do you suggest HTML5 mopar? I was under the impression its just not quite ready for the mmorpg world. Jagex has now reinvested tons of money to move away from HTML5 and go to C++ (for whatever reason I ASSumed it was HTML5 performance issues). However this being said if you would actually start a project and stay motivated I am sure a lot of us who lurk around here would be willing to join.

Where’d you get that information?[/quote]Which information? Moving away from HTML5? They made an announcement about moving away from HTML5 a while ago for the C++ client. It’s codenamed NXT if you want to look up more information.

i was only partially right in the assumption they are keeping the html5 client it seems the c++ client is more for those gamers where the game is simply for the grahpics
